Due to popular demand, existing supplies of the 2012 Thurston County Bicycle Map are
running low. The map making team at Thurston Regional Planning Council (TRPC)
oversees all stages of map development, production, and distribution. TRPC
will soon have a draft 2014 map available for review. The accuracy of the map
is critical for users’ safety, route planning, and riders’ experience. The
map makers invite people who use the map or who are familiar with our region’s
bicycle routes and facilities to offer TRPC feedback on the product.

Cyclists - all ages, abilities, and interests - are
welcome to participate in the review process and share their ideas.

The map team is interested in feedback on the following
map elements:
·
Route information including the
location and extent of bike lanes, trails, wide shoulders, commonly used
routes, hazards, and elevation marks. Is the information on the map accurate?
·
General readability of symbols, colors,
and line thickness. Is the information clearly presented and easy to
understand?
·
Extras such as safety education, riding
tips, and contact information. Is it useful - are we missing anything
important?
