David Kroodsma Speaks to Packed House
Mr. Kroodsma related how his original idea of biking to raise awareness about global climate change evolved into a journey of transformation for himself and for his thinking about how to confront the twin challenges of improving living standards around the world, and of reducing our impact on the climate at the same time. His conclusions for needed action, in order of importance: 1) Contact your elected officials and urge them to act on climate change. 2) Encourage friends and family to do the same. 3) Reduce your carbon footprint.
The quickest and most effective way to reduce your carbon footprint is to drive less. Why not try using your bicycle to get around instead- you can join the Bicycle Commuter Contest to get started!
